I had a little time on my hands and decided to use it to do some writing.

Title: Not enough
Rating: PG-13
Beta: none
Summary: Post "The Truth." Ryan isn't dealing with the fact that nobody trusted him over the Oliver drama quite as well as Sandy was hoping.

I just rewatched over half term! Did you?

Very plausible fallout. I like the idea that Ryan drunk would lower his inhibitions and let stuff slip.

Yes I did actually. The Truth is one of my favourite episodes of season 1.

Thanks Fred :)

What fred said! Excellent job. I love the grasp you have on the characters, how believable their thoughts and feelings from this episode are. I so enjoyed Sandy finally understanding how hurt Ryan is.

He wasn’t in the mood for Seth’s latest Summer drama. Seth would just have to deal with it himself. If he wasn’t going to pay Ryan attention and listen when something of actual importance was being raised in conversation, then he wasn’t going to listen to him in return....how I wish we had seen this in canon!

he held the container still again as his stomach once again made a flight plan.....loved this phrasing.

I would like to see you write the conversation between Sandy and Kirsten---a true missing scene if ever there was one.

I would like to see that missing scene too. Pretty please Philippa would you write it? Love this story. Hugs

Thank you.

I can't promise anything about the sequal. I have exams coming up but once they are over, I'll try and have a go.

Thanks for this. You've tapped into a number of my pet peeves and major disappointments all in one shot. The Schwartz Express really did steamroll right over the most glaring emotional moments and significant opportunities when it "seemed" impossible to overlook and outright ignore what was going on ( ... )

For me the oliver debacle was one of my favourite times in season 1. We could finally see a more fragile and angsty side of Ryan. I couldn't believe that noone believed him over some guy that they didn't even know. Then straight after his apology, Seth immediately goes back to talking about his own issues. He tells Ryan that he wouldn't fail him again but then he shushes Ryan when he's trying to talk and suddenly reverts back to Summer ( ... )

I'm thankful that you took the time to write this but it leaves itself open to so much more.

Hopefully you'll find yourself with more spare time and will decide to continue with it. Certainly it's one of the many important issues that was never dealt with properly.

Thanks,

I am thinking about continuing and I'm pleased that people are wanting more. I'm in a busy, busy time but hopefully soon I'll have a spare couple of hours and will be able to write something.

Very nicely done but I must admit I wish you would decide to continue with this. Thanks for writing.
