I know, I forgot to say at the beginning that I was moving it on a bit which I'd been planning to do. I'm glad I didn't leave you feeling too cheated :)

Well, you're changing the environment from hospital to house, but that doesn't mean that the issues don't/won't/can't linger and even worsen. There can always be steps forward followed by steps back, so you may end up at the hospital again anyway! Someone who wasn't breathing, swallowed that much water, and suffered that kind of head trauma in addition to how his whole body was battered about is going to have issues, so... no fun for Ryan.

Each story has a unique premise, a different author bringing a unique perspective and stamp to it, and no two can be the same. Besides, what's not to love about h/c and all it explores?

Poor Ryan but also poor Kirsten and Sandy. It's so hard to see your child really hurt physically, emotionally, mentally. Parents want to be able to just kiss it and make it better. Thanks for the update. Nicely done.

I was delighted to see that you had updated this.

Kirsten tried to believe that there was nothing to worry about, but she still couldn’t quell the feeling that something wasn’t quite right. - this, combined with the excruciating amount of pain he seems to be in, has me very concerned. And since this is pure hurt/comfort, I guess I should expect that.
