So apparently no one in the Threadless community thinks the slogan "Math is unrealistic." is awesome. I think it's just the bees' fucking knees, and want to make it real, in t-shirt form. Laura likes it too ( Read more... )

The purple and orange, whichever combination, was a joke. An unfunny one.

The joke, possibly more appreciated by art students, is that math seems to make really big numbers out of small ones. Like, 8 x 8 is 32. Fucking 32. Ridiculous.

I realized in the shower today how much of an idiot I am. 64. 64. I'm not that bad at math!

Heathens! The threadless community is too filled with filthy hipsters to appreciate a shirt like that. I would certainly like one if it ends up being less than say... $20 American, which I hear is about the same as $20 Canadian these days.

I forgot to email you back a while ago because I thought you'd be online but this has not happened.

The Canadian dollar, as of this reply, is worth $1.02445 American. Canada's kicking America's ass economically right now.

$20 is about what I estimated it would be. If not enough people want one, however, it'd be cheaper for you to just get one directly from Seatthole. I'd just give everyone the art and they could order it from their closest printer. That's worst case scenario.

Alright, good plan.

What's the design going to look like? I think it'd be cool if it was fairly small, so it's not obnoxious or anything.

I was thinking a plain font, probably a serif font, and just the text. And, no, not too big.

Like I said to Rob up there, "The joke . . . is that math seems to make really big numbers out of small ones. Like, 8 x 8 is 32. Fucking 32. Ridiculous." Or 10 x 10 = 100. Unrealistic. I suppose it's an ironic ignorance. Everyone likes irony these days, right?

As corrected above, 64, not 32.

I'd of course get one, but you'd give it to me in exchange for hugs, kisses and sex...and and more breakfasts in bed!

Hells of yes. Those things are all the things that make up Awesome Panthers. Awesome Panthers are towering black cats of pure awesome that run around unnoticed and awesome-maul people. They maul them till they're awesome, if you will. And they do it... wait for it, AWESOMELY. So, maybe you're an Awesome Panther, and I'll totally take your maulings. Maul me baby.

Christ, maybe I am still drunk.
