I liked the fic...don't know anything about the characters but the tone and thoughts throughout intrigued me. I really liked the first lines and the convo b/n the characters.
Ummm....oh by the way do you know that you're to blame for all that crappy het fic I've been putting out there lol. Ugh. I make myself sick w/ all the sappiness some days...but I just can't seem to stop writing these long lost love fics b/n characters.
Anyway....since I didn't know the fandom but wanted to comment I did read it...still confused on some bits but like always still in love with your writing :)

Thanks for reading, even if you didn't know the fandom. The fact that you could enjoy and at least mostly understand makes me smile.
YAY!! I'm glad I encourage sappiness. The world needs more sappiness.
Thanks again!

I am so pleased. I love this story, I really do - it's so in character for all three and so very, very moving. I loved the Morse touch so much.
Thank you for the dedication and I was more than happy to help. I'm really glad to see you posting again.

You're welcome. I really did appreciate the help. Might need some more of it in the future. (Tony/Maddie may have started talking to me again.)

Almost cried at this:
"Just then he heard the one thing he truly longed to hear, Morse once again saying his name. His hand trembled slightly as he reached up and paused the playback then carefully dragged the bar back enough to hear it once again."

This stems from the fact that my mother and I automatically say Lewis the way Morse did and miss it in Lewis.
