Thank you so much. I did enjoy reading this, and remembering how MY morse and Lewis were together. Not too sure about a Hobson/Lewis relationship (would rather see L/H, but it works really well, in spite of my preferences, and is a peaceful, gentle piece - did you intend it as an 'in memoriam' to Morse?

Thank you for the review. Yes, it was intended as a memoriam for Morse and a little from John Thaw. From all the interviews I've been reading/seeing it sound like Kevin was a little in love with John's voice so I projected that on Lewis. I'm not a big Lewis/Hathaway fan cause I was a big Lewis/Morse fan and it feels a little like cheating. With Lewis/Hobson they both knew and loved Morse so it feels more like honoring his memory. (weird and twisted mind, I know)

I know I've reviewed this before but I had to again.
This is possibly my favourite story in any fandom and I'm a self-professed veteran of the fanfic scene lol

Oh, this is lovely! It actually brought tears to my eyes, so, very well done. I miss Morse... I'm glad for Lewis that at least he has a friend who knew him too. (Have you written any Morse/Lewis, by the way?) Thanks for writing this :)
