Since this doesn't happen very often, I thought I'd record it here. Now that I'm getting older (44), maybe I will get ill more often, but I think this is my first illness of 2016 which isn't bad ( Read more... )

Have you had the dreaded 'con crud' in the wake of Armadacon? A flu-like lurgy usually brought on by the air conditioning in UK convention hotels drying out all your mucous membranes, and large numbers of fans breathing cold/flu bugs on each other.

Hope you are back to 100% soon.

I'm blaming Dragonmeet much more than Armadacon. Armadacon was bright, breezy and airy, and in healthy Plymouth.

Dragonmeet on the other hand was much, much busier, and in London.

When I worked for JOLF, I often used to get ill after I got back from London trips. Any immunity has probably worn off now. Dragonmeet last Saturday. Ill by Wednesday night.
