Ugh
Well, Ava woke up this morning with a 102* temp. I guarantee you its hear ears, AGAIN! I can't even believe that she *just* got done with her Omnicef on Saturday and that other ear was infected on Monday. I don't know what to do? I mean, is she resistant to antibiotics? I sure hope not, but I am beginning to wonder…
Anyway, she was very clingy and fussy and right now Phil is home with her and we are waiting for her ped to call back with what to do. HE didn't treat her ear on Monday bc it wasn't bothering her and now it is, so I am guessing its yet another course of antibiotics…I am so sick of all of this. That appt. Friday can't come fast enough. I want tubes in my baby stat!!!! I mean, somethings gotta give. We have been battling ear infections non stop for the past 3 months. I am very nervous about her hearing. I think I might request that the ENT do a test on it or refer me to someone who can test it.
In more bad news, she also got bit yesterday at daycare. Different kid this time. She was playing with a toy that another child wanted, and the other child bit her. Poor baby!
Anyway, aside from that we went to the park last night. It was really a lot of fun and Ava was very playful. The weather got up to 70* so it was such a nice time. These pics are all from my camera phone so bear with them,
We also got to feed the ducks at the pond. Ava really liked this part!
She kept saying "Hi Duck. Hi Duck". So cute!
So anyway, that is that.
Oh, and apparently the women at work today each swallowed their bitch pill this morning. I have had a head cold for two weeks now that I can't shake and one of them threw a tissue box on my desk b/c I was sniffling. You know what, screw them! I have been sniffling ever since. I am just waiting for the confrontation and you better believe I am letting her have it. I am tired of this particular woman butting into my phone conversations (both business and personal) and just generally being rude to me. She is one of those know-it-alls that is always commenting on my parenting (when I discuss it with my coworker friend Heather). She doesn't even have kids! She is a thrice divorced 50+ woman that is just bitter in her own life and tries to bring us all down with her. Well, this chick is tired of it!!!!
