(no subject)
Hi all!!!
Good Morning! Yes, it is 6am, and I am wide awake. In fact, I have been this awake since 4:17am this morning.
So here are all of the things I have gotten to deal with thus far:
I ta;led to Phil (who was at work) at 4:30am while feeding Ava her bottle. He proceeded to tell me that he can't find an envelope that he needed. We both agreed on where the last time we saw it was. At 5:00am, Ava was done with her bottle, so I proceeded to tear everything apart looking for this thing. No dice. So how do I know that this is somehow my fault? Ack. Anyway -- he doesn't seem pissed about it, but I am just waiting for him to blow up on me. I have speculated that he went to look at it and it is now lord only knows where.
So, since I was wide awake, I decided that maybe shopping online was in order. I looked at Gymboree since I have my gymbucks and I also found pics of all of the cute stuff I got yesterday. Here are the outfits:
She got me this onesie in pink, yellow and white:

Plus a pair of jean and khaki shorts that I can't find a picture of all from Target!
So now, Ava is pretty much ready for spring!! :) Yay!
Anyway --- so after I did that, I noticed at about 5:40am that Ava had a stinky bottom. But I had other things to do first, and I wasn't sure she was done with her business, so I did some more online shopping. at 5:55am I looked down to find my baby passed out. ack. I don't want to wake her up to change her diaper, but she is sure stinky.....such decisions!!! ;)
So, I guess I should start getting ready for work.
Oh! I almost forgot! I forgot to mention that we had a meeting with a potential nanny at a resturaunt in Robinson last night. The lady we met was AWESOME and we really want her to watch Ava. I am going to call her today to make sure that she can work for what we can afford ($200/wk) If that is still the case, I think I found an in home sitter! yay! yay! Part of me still kind of wishes Ava was in daycare, but I am guessing that we can work something out when Ava is a few years old. I still need to check her references, etc. but she seemed so nice! I am of course becoming a paranoid mom already though and I am going to purchase a nanny cam for the living room (where they would spend pretty much all of their time). I guess you can never totally trust someone you just met, no matter how nice they seem. The thing that does make me feel better is that she still does work for a home health agency and (from being an accountant for one) I know that they have to run very stringent background checks on them, which is what I plan to confirm as soon as I get her references. Anyway- wish us luck!
Ok, she is waaaayyyy too stinky. I need to wake her up. God help me! ;)
