I'm loving the new Dr Who series it's come so far since the old days and it's so well written.

I'm a bit miffed about too much love going on in the Doc's life though. It could be a bit too much and especially when he was Casanova.

I don't remember there being any suggestion of romance with the Doc and his sidekicks back in my childhood or maybe I was just too young to notice but that's how I prefer it to be. They can have a subtle undercurrent but I don't want him snogging someone or getting all sentimental every week.
