Hizbollah guerrillas killed eight people in a rocket barrage on Israel and three Israeli soldiers in clashes in Lebanon on Thursday, the deadliest day of the war for Israel in 23 days of fighting.

I am deeply saddened by this news and my heart goes out to those poor people but a part of me wonders if Israelis dying today may spur a better reaction
