just finished watching the extended version of The Two Towers - very, very cool. the extra scenes really helped my understanding of the story.

can't wait until the 17th. i've decided i'm just gonna watch The Return of the King and not watch all three movies at once at the raleigh grand. i don't think i could take all of the battle scenes in one ( Read more... )

Well, you couldn't go to the marathon even if you wanted to -- it sold out in 5 minutes when it went on sale on Oct. 16th! (I waited in line and was quite disappointed not to get tickets.) :/

Oh brother! I just received my copy of TTT. Here I am with a long afternoon ahead of me, a DVD player just itching to spin, and a very nice Cambridge Soundworks sound system connected to my PC. Perhaps if I shut my office door ....

If I start right now, I can be done before Vespers.

I am even now tortured by two copies of the extended edition of TTT sitting in my apartment which are both earmarked as gifts. So I haven't watched it yet.

Well, the other issue is that I'm pretty likely to get a copy for Christmas, and I may disappoint whoever might give it to me if I were to watch it beforehand.

I shall try to wait.
