prayer request

i hurt my back at work the other day - one vertebra has slipped a bit over the one beneath it. i'm having some numbness and weakness in my right leg - which is concerning me. i have an appointment with an orthopaedic doc on thursday.

those of you who pray, if you think of it please pray for me.

I know how that goes. My neck/back has had a similar situation. I will definately pray for you. DON'T LET THEM INJECT CORTIZONE INTO YOUR SPINE UNLESS IT IS THE LAST OPTION BEFORE SURGERY! Cortizone erodes your bones and it is done to remove the symptoms and make you feel better but will go back to the way it is in 5 years or so, and you will need more and more injections. I imagine they will try to get you to have an MRI. See what a Chiropractor thinks about it as well. With it used at the right time, it can help alot.
