SHE'S BACK!After eight days MIA and having already drawn up my "have you seen this cat?" posters, she appeared on our doorstep at 6:30am today. We don't know where she's been, she is emaciated to the point we can see the ripples in her spine through an inch thick coat, she's dehydrated,

Yay! I'm very glad. Is she going to be ok?

Hard to say. They ran blood tests and she hasn't suffered organ failure yet, which means she's unlikely to as a result of her escapade. BUT, her lower jaw is definitely broken through the soft bit in the centre (we could tell that - half her mouth seemed to be hanging) and so they've wired it already, but if it pops out of the hinge at the back she'll have to get her front teeth cemented so her mouth stays slightly open, and be tube fed, until it all heals sufficiently. We're freaking at the cost if this happens, but nobody in my family will say no to it.

Hopefully we can visit her on Boxing Day.
