So...I got angry about a thread on someone's journal and their responses to my responses. It did not end well. I asserted harder, dialed down the congeniality, and wrote things I believed, but knew would not be well received. I had an ex that gained about 100 pounds during the relationship, and saw entirely too close up that it was behavioral, not genetic. You do not actually know what I understand or do not understand about weight gain and loss.Please don't quote things I never said.

Um, sorry vague phrasing on my part. I wasn't attributing any statements or opinions to you. Thanks for pointing out the sentence was vague. I edited my sentence to be more clear.

They see me as a "thin, white, well-off male" which apparently disqualifies me from having a moral right to do anything but agree with them.

Keeping your mouth shut is ALWAYS something you have a right to. Even when your opinion is explicitly asked (unless, of course, you're sworn in and sitting on the witness stand ;) ).
