Cool. I'm all about this idea in the community lately, it's really the best of all worlds as far as I can see. So cheers! A bit of compromise rocks, particularly as no one really wants to have an abortion if they can avoid the situation in the first place. So in this respect I see no problem working at least this far with the pro-lifers and encourage it. While I am completely pro-choice with regards to a woman's decision if she actually gets pregnant, this does seem the fairest way to minimalize the stress, trauma, and waste for all involved. Prevention is the best.

Also. I adore your icon. Fantastic Logic there. I'm kind of excited that the Democrats have been getting some freash blood in, that's way cool because they definately need to revitalize a bit and I think it's starting. :)

yes, i agree that pro-prevention is a great way to compromise between the two stand points. i just shot down lifers from replying to the 'respect the right' part because i don't feel like being spammed with messages pertaining to murder.
thanks for the thoughts!

Well, this position separates the religous fanatics from the people who actually care about the position they advocate. Attacking prevention makes it very difficult for someone to retain the moral high ground on the life front, if they cared they would wish to reduce the number of abortions as those tend to go up when birth control goes down. It makes it easier to tell if they are in it for the control or for the children.

I'd definitely be willing to be interviewed. I'm not in the area, though.

You know that I'd love to talk bout my abortion.

I live maybe...4 hours from Wilkes Barre, but I may be in Harrisburg sometime soon - if thats the case, I'll be sure to tell you when.

But if you need a phone interview, feel free to interview me. :P

haha, i almost stole the same icon.

And you know I'd love to use you for my interview! I don't have a car at the moment, so I think the easiest route to take would be a phone interview. Unless you live anywhere near philly, i'm there all the time. I'll let you know the day I have everything ready for the interview!

I had an abortion last December, and the only thing that I wish I'd done differently was not get pregnant in the first place. I'm nowhere near you, though. My email is in my user info.
