[Edit: OKAY GUYS, here is the same kind of objection that was voiced to cabrutus, except that time it was voiced by sisyphus http://community.livejournal.com/real_philosophy/300334.html?thread=9769518#t9769518 ...It's a bit more eloquent but basically pokes at the same darn thing that I'm poking at using this post. This is gonna clear it up. If not, tough noggins]

What is a dog?

I've no idea. Let's get a philosopher to explain to me what a dog "is," via the "philosophy of what a dog is."

Nope, nevermind actually taking a look at a dog, or hearing it bark.

What is the rule of the law? What is justice?

I've no idea. Let's get a philosopher to explain to me what "law" and "justice" "is," via the "philosophy of law and justice."

Nope, nevermind about the cops. Nevermind about any experience of vindication.

Forget about your experiences. It's all in the head.
