Request for Feedback

The GM Oracle website has now been online for a month and it's time to ask for feedback from anyone who has been following the site. Do you like the random approach, with every day bringing something new, or would you prefer to see posts related and possibly even the occasional theme weeks? A world/city slowly created with posts building on the ( Read more... )

"Also, I think the eclectic approach has been quite nice, but thematically linked weeks could hit the spot, too. The same goes for slowly filling in a back story for a place or world, especially if you aimed it for being a drop in region or place. I've a weakness for the "points of light" or "fringes of civilization" type elements that would go with having a built upon region or area to just drop into a campaign."

So something where posts start to link back to previous posts, connecting NPCs and locations and treasures would be what you're looking for? And maybe a map that slowly gets populated?

Random FT(continued)W. I find that I can recycle bits and pieces other people create fairly easily, but the more interconnected things become, the harder a time I have using them. I very much prefer to build up my own structures.

How about the longer pieces and the "classic ad" stuff? Are those fun, or would you be happier with just the short bits?
