Breakfast cereal apartheid

This morning Pelago had a bowl of cereal for breakfast.  It contained a mixture of honey nut cornflakes and All Bran.  This is not a permitted combination.  I don't know why but I have strong views about this which I didn't even know I held till I saw some of Pelago's cereal mixes.  I don't really like mixing cereals at all but, if necessary to

I can understand where you're coming from, I'd not be comfortable with that either. Though with me it would be motivated by a general dislike of Shreddies, All Bran, Bran Flakes etc.

LOL! Actually I totally agree with you, except that I think of it more as 'weight' or heaviness or denseness or something rather than colour. Or maybe to do with how substantial they feel or how quickly they soak up milk or something like that. Only cereals of the same type along those lines should be mixed together - anything else is Just Wrong.
