this is my last public post....I'm way lazy and can't actually go back and convert all my old posts to friends-only because I let it go too long before I realized I had switched completely over, and they only let you go 90 posts or so back.

Sooo anyways, this journal is now friends only.

I'm an eph too, and noticed your interest in all things Georgian. Did you go last year or are you going this winter study? I went 2 years ago and spent a summer there, events posted on my other journal, femisuz. Let me know about your Georgian adventures!

actually and I hate to admit this, I haven't been yet! But I've been singing Georgian music for almost 4 years now, and have a close friend (american) who lives in Tbilisi and is a National Laureate of Georgian folk music and who is waiting for me to come visit him! I am planning on going winter study 06, because I am going to Italy next semester and couldn't do both. I was going to study in Georgia for a semester but there is no infrastructure that I could use to convince my parents that it would be a good idea..and I don't speak Russian.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I know a lot of Georgians, have sung Georgian music for a long time now, and can't wait to go.
