Life's been good. And itchy. It's a good kind of itch, I think, the kind that says it's time to do something. And, mostly, I have been doing things. The things I've been doing aren't always the things I should be doing, but more often than not, they're satisfying things, even productive things.

My mom is going on a cruise in November. It's a pretty fabulous cruise which starts in the UK and goes to France, Spain and Portugal on a thirteen day wine tour. She's not much of a wine drinker, but it hits the places she wants to visit. She's paying for a larger suite, for two people, whether anyone goes with her or not. Oh! And I also made more frozen yogurt this weekend. I strayed from all the sensible advice in my recipe book and used 0% fat lemon-flavored greek yogurt. And soy milk. Added some sugar, mixed it all up... and it's pretty gosh darn awesome. Very creamy ( Read more... )

I've been driving the same car for twelve years as of this month. A whole dozen.
