Dude, I totally understand. My sister did pretty much the same thing. She was broke so she made a christmas ornament for everyone and put it in a gift bag with a couple pieces of candy. REALLY REALLY inexpensive but still sweet. But then Christmas morning she said she didn't make one for me and Erick because "she wasn't sure we had a tree," and must have conveniently forgotten that she gave us her old mini fake tree last year.

And you know? I don't really care that I don't have an ornament, cuz they weren't that awesome anyway. But it still kinda stung, cuz we were the only ones that didn't get something. When I reminded her about the tree she gave me, she was like "Oh sorry . . . but we didn't have anymore shells for the ornaments anyway, the rest are in the trash from trial and error. But you can have one if you wanna go through our trash. Heh heh." Which told me that not only did she not think of me, she didn't care that she hadn't.

So yeah, I think it's totally justified that you were upset and hurt. I would have been too.

It sounds like everybody had a really hurtful sibling this year. I think your sister and Jason should draw each for Secret Santa... and then mutually forget about each other. Jason's my brother and I love him but holy shit, if I knew the stuff he was going to pull this year I just would've given him coal and been done with it.
