So, tonight I went to the ash wednesday service at my church. We had the service and a pancake dinner at the church office (right next to our new building's construction site, YEA!!!!). Yeah I know how you feel. I have a huge youth group at my church, but I've always related to and felt more REALNESS and depth in my older friends. I think I prefer the 30+-something group - they are the ones I talk to the most. Don't get me wrong - I can and do have a good time with those my age. I hope you can find what you're looking for and good luck to you in your 40 days.

I'm sorry about the youth group thing. That really is not fun at all. You should check out the one at my church. I think you would enjoy it.
