If you're back in Portland, let's accomplish some of these things together! Or perhaps I'll write my own list and we'll hold each other to them-- or at least talk about them at length over wine and cloves?
Ohhh, I've always wanted to learn how to play the accordion. That and the harp. And bagpipes, though after being up close and personal one rather than the sort of removed-ness situation you usually see them in (parades, funerals) I'm not sure I'm willing to go deaf over an instrument.
i know what you mean about the friends thing, though...i've always tried to go out of my way to be that friend, the one who waits at the airport, the one who bangs on the door, etc. i keep thinking maybe, someday, i'll find some people who actually deserve it, haha
Like I said before, trying to be honest. ;) AustinJames, you ARE that friend, quintessentially. And hardly anyone really deserves it, but that's not really the point, is it?

The Shakira thing happened to me too...while I was salsa dancing though. Didn't it make you feel awesome? :)
