Happy happy birthday Lala!!! I hadn't even looked at a calendar in a few weeks and keep forgetting that it's already Sept. Anyway - sorry I haven't sent a card - I am having a hard time with the whole work/life/house balance. Anyway - can't wait to see you next weekend - I'll try and have a belated gift and card for you then! *hugs*

Oh, Lissa... don't worry bout a thing! I know how life in general tends to get in the way of things. You really don't have to get me anything at all, Just being able to see the you and the family the 23rd is enough!

I've been meaning to ask... how'd that house thing turn out? Oh, and does Robs dad drive a green montero? If so I saw him at Zaxbys. I was in the drive through, so I didn't get to talk to him.

yuri has been a bit lonely over there so far. i guess it comes with the territory, though -- she's all alone in a big school (school starts in a few weeks) with no internet or cable, & her french is rusty at best. but things can only get better from here. she knows that much.

i've been kinda quiet, it's true. i'm actually feeling really hyper & energetic today, so i may throw a big post together.

what's new with you? anything crazy going on for your b-day, aside from concert-hopping? :)

No interweb!?!!! Gosh... yeah, I'm sure it will be better once classes start and she can meet some folks.

Nothing new over this way... I have to go to work in a little bit and I have 3 tests in the next couple of days, so any birthday fun will be postponed until the weekend.

And like I said... Music = whenever you get to it. No rush. Although... I did finally get my hands on Devotchka (how it ends), so you don't have to send that one. Also, I dunno how it's looking timewise for uploading them (I know mine took forever!), if it would be easier I could just give you my addy and you could send a cd with the mp3 files. Totally up to you.
