I like how HAVING to cook for myself makes me find interesting recipes to try. Tonight’s was from a cookbook belonging to one of my roommates, Sundays at Moosewood Restaurant and is a recipe for Turkish Spinach and Lentil Soup. I am so glad you posted this, as I was going to ask for the recipe. Halve the cayenne next time; a little bit goes an impressively long way. I'm slowly becoming accustomed to spicier foods, though I know I'll never be able to eat truly hot dishes.

Oh, and remind me to send you my Moroccan Chicken and Lentil Stew recipe. Delicious and richly spiced without any heat!

ETA: do you have a crockpot/slow cooker? I have recipes that will serve you well through the cold and bitter MN winter.

They do the full Latin mass there?! Yeesh.

That's pretty exciting, though! And I'm definitely saving this recipe for when the time comes that I have to cook for myself.
