So all you Portlanders stop complaining about the cold! ;-) As I was wandering around grrlpup's friends, they kept complaining about the cold. It's -17 with -35 windchill. Let that warm you up! We're almost as cold as you -- -15 when I got up this morning. I'm going to the Y today -- maybe I'll get the skis out tomorrow :)

I'm glad Felix is doing better -- yeah, mean people do suck!

We are supposed to get to 16 tomorrow and 20 on Monday. It should seem like summer!

I know, aren't we pathetic? You should see us run around like chickens with our heads cut off when there's a few inches of SNOW. :)

Heh. But you have to keep in mind, that very few people out here own anything warm. Down parkas are too expensive to buy for three days' use a year.

So how about this? We'll stop whining, but first we get to swap our rainjackets for your parkas... ;-)

Polar fleece!

I haven't had a down coat in....25 years??? Didn't you Oregonians invent polar fleece. Two or three layers of that, and I'm good to go!

Ooohhh, we had about 6 inches of snow on Thursday. I think that's enough.
