Chinese Vocabulary

It has taken me all day to watch Meteor Shower episode three.... without subs.    And I'm not finished yet!  *hysterical laugh*  Why so long?  Aside from numerous distractions, I decided I should learn some new vocabulary words and make a list!  *more hysterical laughing*   
I'm exhausted.  I'm going to try to watch the rest without pausing once.

This is really impressive! I've been trying to learn Japanese for a while but haven't been putting in this kind of effort...

I'm very sporadic with my efforts :)

I was learning Japanese before I switched to Chinese. It was while I was watching Japanese tv shows (for vocab) that I first saw kendo. I've seen a lot of kendo, or something very similar, on Korean shows too. I guess it's always intrigued me.
