I vote for option b, if only because I know that's what I would do and I want a tech-phobic friend.

Also, drippy cat noses are quite normal. Hobbes has been doing it for about 3 years. As long as there are no other symptoms (lethargy, problems eating, etc) I wouldn't be concerned. Some cats get drippy and drooly when they are happy and purring a lot!

Yes, b is FAR more likely than the other two. I'm a hold-out, but not the sort who keeps guns in the basement, thankfully.

The drippy nose has cleared up! For now. So I can continue my negligence with a mite less guilt.
