Is it? Only for dogmeat, though, surely? You can't even get a cat for £12. Our worthless mogs cost £50 apiece - I think it was apiece, not for all three - in the form of a 'voluntary' donation to the CPL. Not that I begrudge it, they've more than repaid it in lurve.

I believe Fidra's planning on bringing out the whole of the 'Jill' series, and I might replace the copies I have, some of which have had some misguided bringing-up-to-date editing done on them. (My own early-1960s paperbacks are long gone, unless they're up in my mother's attic - and if they are they can stay there, it's scary in there.)

And for me (I do have a first edition on the shelf, but very tattered and scrawled over - so it'll be interesting to do a comparison).
