Munich Is Weird

How is it possible that it always takes one hour to get to the airport? No matter from where in the city. How is it possible that it doesn't matter whether I leave from home or work even though my workplace is about halfway between my home and the airport

Thank you. Hope it'll be a fun and relaxing trip, even though boyfriend has to study for an exam on Monday.
And I'm sure the lecture will go fine. If you learn one thing in six years of teaching at the university, it's how to bluff your way through a lecture and make it seem well prepared :)
