I'm spending the weekend in the Allgäu, a mountain range about a two hour train ride from Munich. My parents are here for a week's vacation and I thought it would be nice to visit them. The plan was to do some relaxed hiking

I don't think there'll be much activity besides sauna and pool. Maybe an afternoon walk, if the weather clears up.
And yes, I sprung for a three hour wifi account for my room. And I'm also using my company phone to go online ;)

That sounds like my perfect weekend, honesty, LOL. How much are they charging you for your three hours of wifi? Last time we were at Disney World it was $10/day and I was just like seriously? It's stupid when vacation spots don't have free internet these days.

LOL, I know. You would love it. Actually, I'm pretty beat from getting up so early today, so I don't really mind.
Three hour wifi charge is 2€, which is okay, but still. Get with the times, people. That's why I'm glad I have my company phone with me. No idea how much going online with that thing actually costs, but I don't have to pay it ;)
