It turns out, having to take a rain check doesn't neccessarily have to suck. If you have a wellness area with sauna and pool handy, that is. Just got back from a very relaxing round of sauna and swimming with my mom, that included a weird encounter with an older dude. Wow. That is some thick cloudcover! I would love to be there today chilling in quiet, though... (It's been a very noisy day at my house, lol.)

Mountains, where? I love fog though. It is cool in an eerie kind of way.

Back in the 1980's, when the smog was so horrible in the Los Angeles basin, you could rarely see the San Gabriel mountains due to the smoggy haze. It is so much better now. For some reason the haze in the photo brought back those memories.

Well, according to local legend, there are mountains around here. Somewhere. I'm almost sure ;)
It is creepily eerie to be completely in the clouds. All sounds are muffled.
Although, I think I prefer this natural sort of smog to the real deal ;)
