Ahhhh, I bet it is hard to leave him behind. I hope he isn't too traumatised by you coming and going now that you are living in Munich.

It's really hard. Even when I was in Berlin, leaving him at my parent's house is always tough. If it wasn't completely unfair to the animal, because I work all day and am never at home, I'd totally dognap him *g*

Next week my parents are dropping by for a couple of days on their way to our place in Austria and Max is with them. Really looking forward to that!

Ahh the poor thing misses you. I am always amazed to see how perceptive our pets can be. My dog always knows when we are about to do something like camping or boating even before we start getting ready. I swear that they know our language.

They really do. Max's predecessor had this irrational fear of being left behind. So whenever we'd go on trips he'd wait for us to start packing and try to hide in the suitcases or in the car. He actually succeeded once and my mother actually packed him in the suitcase and closed it *g*
