Oh Fullmetal Alchemist

I watched the first episode of the new Fullmetal Alchemist. This is a rebooted series that's supposed to be more like the manga (ex: Hellsing Ultimate) and the first episode started...by not being anything like the manga. Yeah. Completely pointless.

It's funny. Two tv series and the manga isn't even over yet. No one seems to know how to wait.

they didnt want to start it the same as the manga because that was already covered by the original anime, since that started out following the manga so they did this quick episode to introduce a bunch of people and place the setting so they wouldnt have to cover everything the original anime already did

Except it didn't really feel like an introduction. More like a re-introduction for existing fans. Which felt boring and useless. What with all the characters to be seen in this episode (for some the first time). Guess it can be annoying if it's being tailored to the people who already know everything. And it really was a mediocre start.

okay so WAT!? WHER IS THIS I NEED IT!
And I still need the second season of FMA. Damn it all. And the movie...but whatever. Even if it doesn't follow the manga, the show is fantastic and you know it.
