i think you do have a philosophical mind. After all, who else can take a problem in one context and apply its lessons to another. There was a guy who used to do this lots. Even Einstein thought he was a genius.

unfortunately, i'm a little more mundane than that. I apply metaphors from playing little games, like billiards, chess, tetris and puzzle-bobble to life. I think it comes naturally once you start thinking about what you are doing.
