Well it finally happened. The RROD has officially fully whacked my 360. And just in time for Christmas too. They said 1-3 weeks which of course means 4-6 weeks or "whenever the hell we feel like it".

I'm thinking it may be wise to just buy another one and when I get my old one back, sell that.

oh yeah, I'm also not in the habit of throwing away $500 on something I already own.

I got what you meant, but I was implying that at least you have alternatives should you decide against buying another system.

Although I already assume you're consider/have bought a new elite :-P
