For about all parents, they want their kids not be midgets for the most part and want them to be tall. Well there was this couple who forced their daughter not to grow so they could take care of her in a more manageable way as she's mentally and physically disabled. I think I agree with the parents. According to the first article, she is "unable to sit up, roll over, hold a toy or walk or talk." Exactly how is she supposed to express her opinion in the matter?

The article also mentioned how the treatment was questionable because it was done for the parents, not the patient. I think anything that benefits the parents is bound to benefit her, though. If they can care for her better, great. If this makes them resent her condition less, great.
