I like that you gave me your phone number almost exactly nine years ago, give or take a few days. I like that you were willing to take a chance and listen that voice in your heart. I like that we talked again the night after you hung up on me. *Grins and winks* But mostly, I like that you've put up with my shit for the last 6½ or so years and that you put up with Fizzgig and Jupiter. :*

I like that you try and write YA with a Norse background. The Celtic stuff's been done to death. *Grins* I admire the patience that you have with your kids, and I appreciate how you've helped Katy improve her writing the last couple of years.

You're down to Earth, and you have a great sense of humor. I enjoy the chats we have during the morning and evening commutes, which I'm going to miss once your work schedule changes. But most of all, I really admire the courage that I know it took for you to grab your life by the reins and move it in a healthier direction.
