[It seems that Draco's more unsettled by the murders than he'd like to let on, though - even that attempt at dry sarcasm is horribly transparent.]
I have absolutely no desire to be awake that early, so Granger can go with you. Not to mention that I hardly trust Weasley to stay here and manage the wards on his own.
[There's a slight pause, and Draco's next words are somewhat hesitant.]
Also, I highly doubt Merlin and Arthur are dead. I'm quite sure we'd have been notified about it over these sodding devices, as we have been with every other murder. It's more likely that they're not in World's End any longer.
If you did the nightshift with me, the sleeping arrangements wouldn't be a problem anymore...
[He sounds slightly disappointed.]
And... I don't know if they are dead. Maybe they are, hopefully they aren't, but I don't know. The fact that they disappeared during the murders, however, is not a good sign.
[There's a bit of a pause, as there's so much that Ron wants to say that he needs a moment to remember that he's trying to not set Harry off about the whole 'trusting Malfoy' thing. Again. So that explains why he doesn't say much.]
I can do things at night, since I'm out most days at the eatery or the library lately.
I'm sure Merlin could handle himself. I mean, he's brilliant. Even if there's some nutter going around, I don't think that would be enough to take down Merlin.
I know but... what can I do? This place just drains us of any hope. We'll keep looking though.
And we have been in situations like this, but I don't know what's worse, deranged wizards or a deranged muggle. In any case, be on your guard. It's up to you if you want to go out with me at night or stay home with Ron. Draco would rather stay home, but Ron would rather be with you. So it's your decision.
Well, it looks like we'll have to switch it up then. I don't want to feel useless by just staying home all the time and not contribute at all. It's not very proper when we're living in a community like this. Ron and Draco will just have to learn to get along. Act like civilized persons, as it were.

[Here's Draco, exuding cool disinterest as only a Malfoy can.]
Then by all means, Potter, go out and look for them.

We've been in plenty of situations before, right? I just wish we knew what it was. A person ... or some sort of monster.
And you're right. Nobody should be alone anymore.
