Claim a Second Lives Prompt: Art

Feb 21, 2009 10:55

You don't need to be a member of the community to stake a prompt claim, but you will need to join the comm in order to post/announce what you make with it. You can claim a prompt that you provided.

To Stake a Claim:

  • Claim just one prompt from the prompts that aren't crossed out. (It's a good idea to check the comments, too, to make sure it hasn't been claimed but not yet crossed out.)
  • Copy the prompt you want (with its number) into a comment to this post.
  • Your claim will be crossed out on the list asap. Don't worry if that doesn't happen for a few hours. If yours is the first comment claiming that prompt, you get the prompt.
  • You'll get a reply comment confirming your claim.
  • If you change your mind and want a different prompt, post a new comment. Tell us which prompt you're putting back, and which one you're claiming instead. Use the prompt text and the prompt number for both -- helps us double-check your claim and edit this entry.
  • If you change your mind and don't want your prompt, post a new comment and tell us which prompt you're putting back.
  • You can post your finished product anytime between receipt of your claim confirmation and April 9, and then come back and claim another prompt here. You can post five entries to the queue before you hit the limit, and we'll be releasing the queue every Friday during the moderated-posting period.
  • You can claim a prompt here and then claim a prompt in another medium (the same one if you want it and it's unclaimed). All the same prompts are offered for fic, vids, icons, and art.
  • Prompt claiming will close after April 9, when the open posting period ends.

Note: The prompts are split into Single Focus (individual characters, races, places, etc.) and Combinations. Many characters appear in both lists, and we had to make judgment calls about where to put some. If there's something you're especially interested in, make sure you do a text search so that you find all the related prompts. Spellings are as they appear in the Stargate Solutions Wiki. (e.g. Ba'al, the Reetou, Ferretti, Elliot, Emmett Bregman.) "Sha'uri" and "Sha're" appear as the prompters chose.

Trying to get closure on his past, Daniel visits the exhibit at the museum where it wound up permanently mounted, and can't stop himself from reaching out to touch (or is shoved or blunders into it accidentally, maybe). Jacob and Selmak are alive and heading the Tok'ra, now known as the Egerians. Everybody joins forces when the aliens from 'Foothold' attempt another, much more large-scale invasion of the galaxy, with drastically improved chameleon technology.

George Hammond, Kerry Johnson

147. CIA agent Kerry Johnson gets wind of a possible assassination attempt on President Hammond. It may involve offworld elements or be entirely Earth-based. She approaches O'Neill for help. What happens to Vala and Sam when the ghosts of Qetesh and Jolinar are awakened in them? Additional image prompt:
