Oh, wonderful, wonderful! I'm just reveling in the Catherine here. I am so happy for this, omg.

Ernest-oh, brave, stupid man -- I love that. Just a few short words, but so evocative of her personality, her adoration for him, her no-nonsense realism.

I love the fill-in-the-blanks speculation about the consequences of Daniel's visit (and her curiosity about his accent!). I love the historical context this wraps around the speculation. I love seeing this moment of change in Catherine, watching the possibilities open out all around her, watching her resolve strengthen to steel. This completely works for me as a missing link between the little girl of the movie and the young woman of the ToT flashbacks, and the older woman of the movie and ToT.

You really got Catherine! The long term result of their visit to Catherine doesn't have quite as much impact in the show as the effect of meeting General Hammond. You've fixed that beautifully!

What a wonderful missing scene of 1969! I've often wondered what Catherine thought about those strange visitors and yes to everythign. The questions she didn't ask. The wondering about Ernest.

I so love Catherine. And hee. Lady with a plan. So wonderful!
