That's an odd request, considering I was actually thinking about removing some of the Audion code. What program do you use?
It's my understanding that the majority of music listeners on Mac use iTunes by now, so adding support for a different audio program sounds like too much work for minimal overall benefit, sorry to say.
There are various REALBasic plugins that offer the ability for me to code up spell checker capability, but they cost money. So, unless I find a free one or whatnot, that unfortunately won't happen.
It would crash while in the middle of typing a post, with no warning or error message. Often it was a long post (though maybe I just remember the crashes that took long posts with them more keenly than those that took just a couple of lines?)
I have actually switched clients, after being a fan of Phoenix for most of my eight years on LJ, because it happened one too many times.
Was this a problem in 1.9.6, and is it still a problem in 1.10.0?
1.9.6 was compiled with a really old version of REALBasic. When I updated compilers I found that a few bugs (such as PgUp/PgDn key functionality) were fixed with that alone.
It'd also be helpful to know what error messages it gave you, if any.
I know I'm a little late, and I'm not sure how this would work - but I've used LJ clients where, in the tag box, you can either select your tags from a list, or type them in and it will suggest a tag as you're typing until you either hit return, or type something that has never been used before.
i've been looking for a Mac client with spell check and preview functions implemented. i just downloaded Phoenix, i haven't seen them yet (but i'm still looking).
Spell check will be a while, if ever. I've got something I'm looking into, but it's a little complex to implement. All the more feasible options are incompatible with the original program author's open source license.
Preview is a possibility. I might code up something where you can click on "Preview" and it'll open a Safari or Firefox browser window with a WYSIWYG of your post.
The next version (1.10.1) won't have either of those features yet, unfortunately, and will consist of mostly some necessary bug fixes and easy stuff. After July I can dedicate some more time to it. I'm still learning the finer points of REALBasic myself, so it's a slow process.

Support so that public posts also hit facebook if you have that turned on in LJ

Would it crash while you're in the middle of typing a post, or when you use a certain function or whatever? What kind of error message does it give?
