::Maria was feeling a bit better today. Her talk with Ougi had helped her get some of her frustrations out of her system. Knowing there was someone like him on the train, someone from a background like hers (even if she would have been his enemy if either of them came from the same world) made her feel a bit less out of place

::Maria had been so caught up in thinking that she barely even caught what the person who had entered said to her, much less recognize the voice. She turned to scold whoever it was for bothering her then stopped, staring.::

S-second Lieutenant Ross?!

::Maria stared for a moment longer until she heard her name. She smiled and quickly walked over, pulling Ed into a hug.::

You're all right! Oh thank god. I've been so worried. Do you know what's going at home? H-Has the Colonel figured out who killed Brigadier General Hughes? W-What about the homunculus?

::There was so much going on when she'd been forced to leave. She wanted to know what had happened. but after she'd asked all of the questions she realized that it probably didn't matter. She looked down at Ed and tilted her head a bit.::

...You've gotten a lot taller. I didn't think I'd been gone that long.
