First of all, I'd like to say that I'm very proud of myself for talking about this book (not just noting that I've read it) on LJ before Kenneth does. I considered putting this off until tomorrow, but I'm going to take advantage of the fact that he's apparently still in shock. (Last we touched base, he was growing positively giddy over the idea of ( Read more... )

Ok, maybe it would be more accurate to say "Rashek and Kelsier's legacies..." I don't want to get your hopes up too much...

Ooh, but when you read it, you should totally call me at random points so that I can see where you are and hear your predictions. I'd actually kind of hoped that I would be there when you read it, but I won't ask you to wait until Christmas.

I think I've got the rough basics of the slang down...

On a slight more serious (and coherent note), I was considering getting to it, actually. I just didn't think that I could at the time, given how hungry/tired/shocked/happy/giddy I was; it would've largely have been an incoherent post.

I think the book was just amazing. In of itself.

Trials of Monument, by Dilisteni. <3 Elend.

Kelsier is...He's just. I have no idea, really. Legacy, indeed. (Wasing the acting on the ever.)

I cried a good deal. Then laughed, cried, on and off. I'm an emotional wreak with this book.
