Wow, that was politely phrased. Okay, kid, three guesses which class I wish I could take here. Although... CLA 211 seems kind of interesting too...

Moral philosophy for the good discussion and contemporary literature because, come on, you get to read Blade Runner.

But they all sound interesting.

No! I can't take both Lit classes next semester, Jess! Don't vote for both!

Oh, of course you can dear. You're perfectly capable of taking both- look at me. I'm taking two labs. You should totally do it =D

Personally, I'd vote for Moral philosophy (surprise, surprise with that) and Early Heroic Lit. Compt Lit also sounds fun. Moral philosophy could get tiring after a while, but I'd definately cast my vote for Early Heroic Lit. Rhetoric gets the last place. So, as listed:
1. Early Heroic Lit
2. Moral philosophy/Compt Lit
3. Rhetoric

I wasn't. I was demonstrating the superiority of Early Heroic Literature over Contemporary Fiction. Remember how I failed to get into the Tolkien seminar Freshman year and settled for World Masterpieces, which turned out to be a great course? Ellen, you have Tolkien and the best parts of World Masterpieces all in the same course.

But I somehow missed that we were voting for two. My other vote is Rhetoric. If you think you can handle that much Classics without losing your soul to Ancient Rome.

I should note that I've mentally ruled out Moral Philosophy because it sounds like Ethics, and everyone I know at W&M who has taken an ethics course has hated it. Maybe your department is different, but I'm wary nonetheless.
