Job Interviews and Weddings

I had a job interview today which went really well--he basically told me that my grades were outstanding, my experience was perfect, and I was exactly who he was looking for. He tried and failed somewhat, by saying "When I pick person X, you will be doing...oh I mean, "person X" will be doing...". It's a job writing up formal reports of notes for

Ooh, that Guy is interested in you? Terrific! :) And congrats about the job; you definitely deserve to be accepted ^_^

Ah, interview tricks. I think one of the most useful things about being a reporter (even at the rather low-brow high school level) is that you learn how to respond and ask good questions and look like you're really fascinated by what the other person says.

yes exactly, that's pretty much what I did!

Oh, and the Guy-Interested-In-Me is former--unfortunately--, in that he just told me recently that he has a serious g/f and was 'dreadfully sorry' that he didn't tell me earlier. Ugh, I don't mind that he has a g/f just annoyed that he didn't tell me earlier because he's been flirting with me like mad for over 6 months.
