I think it's awesome that you're taking fencing, goofy requirements or not. Sounds like research to me. =D

I don't mind the fact I'm taking fencing, in fact it's something Bill and I have been interested in doing for a while, it's the fact that in the middle of the semester when I'm burnt out, it's a mandatory hour and a half I have to be there. But once I graduate and we have some free time and a little money we're thinking of taking classes together.

But oh man it is so research! When we were practicing footwork and he was teaching us sets, he started talking about military strategies that work of the same principles he was teaching us. It was fantastic.
