After two weeks of being in the shop, my computer is back and running. I had to have Polly from work fix it when the mouse wouldn't work when I got it back up after I initially found it had crashed back when I got back from Dreamnation so I guess since Polly only had it two weeks it's actually been down for about three weeks. It's been a good and bad week. Evan was in an accident and his dad is in the hospital (unrelated) for depression.
The stress caused a brewing big fight, but I got freaky and let go of my ego. He was on the attack and instead of shouting back, I said, "I searched my heart and no matter what happens here, I love and support you." That ended the fight quicker than light speed.
We were wined and dined by our sensei and his wife, getting all the juicy tidbits of culture and history, along with the Kendo Federation politics and unsavory deals. Yeah yeah, I'll give you two shinai for a vote on the council.
In my Kendo practice, I have discovered the Force! When I'm on, I know what my opponent will do and my body just flows. My friend, Padawan Robbie groaned that I was inside his head. *evil laugh*
