I got a call back to interview for a job I applied for at MU.  It's part time and the advertisement on the web says it pays 29,000 per year.  If it pays tuition remission (and possibly even if it doesn't)  and actually does pay what it's advertised then I am so taking it!  (And if they like me of course ( Read more... )

That's a great start. I think your boss will understand that you need to grow and better yourself. Opportunity is something that one should always look for...without sacrificing integrity though. Something you could tell you boss is that he helped to prepare you for greater responsibility in life and that he set an excellent example for you to learn from.

No one will look out for your career better than you.

Thanks, that really helps, although since he's in the same boat as me school wise I think he might be a little frustrated too. Especially since this department has a revolving door system when it comes to employees.
