This made me crack up at several points. It is a sad commentary on my life that this doesn't even make my assistant look up from what she's working on anymore. Especially the part where Mom would not enjoy a fantasy land so much, unless said fantasy land resembled a Greek island. In which case, bring on the fantasy land. (Although Mom would probably be a good person to take with you on a magical journey. Because Mom would take one look at a monster and go, bitch, I will cut you if you even think about fucking with my family, and that would be the end of the monster problem.)

And, you know, "reasons why On-ni will probably hate this movie." I think you hit all the nitpicky points. Although, having said that, I do kind of want to see this movie now.

Haha, I'm sure anyone who's been with you while you were at a computer for many awhile is used to your cracking up randomly. :)

I would totally take mom on a magical journey. She would kick major monster ass. But I think for her to enjoy it, it would definitely have to look like a Greek Island.
